HÜLLER HILLE energy scouts on the lookout for “energy guzzlers”

We would like to congratulate our apprentices Laura Öhlschläger, Luca Pfleger and Batuhan Aksakal on successfully completing #energyscout training.

Over the past few months, our three apprentices have taken part in various workshops organised by the local chamber of commerce IHK Rhein-Neckar on topics such as #energyefficiency and #climateprotection to gain basic knowledge of aspects of #sustainability.

Every single employee within the company can help to find ways of saving energy. So too the energy scouts, who discover problem areas, document them and then implement measures and ideas. Steps large and small towards energy efficiency help to protect the environment, lower #resourceconsumption and operating costs in a #sustainable way and thus reduce the company’s CO₂ emissions.

 During their #apprenticeships the energy scouts are therefore learning about core topics related to sustainable working and are developing measures to conserve resources with 💡♻️. Their activities raise awareness among other employees so that they too engage more intensively with energy saving and resource efficiency. The apprentices now view their working environment from a different perspective and can advocate for improvements.
